Alford Waites was born on February 6, 1945 to the parentage of Orine and Edward Waites, Jr., who both preceded him in death. Also, preceding him in death are his brothers, Johnny Mathis and Jeffrey Waites and sisters, Johnnie Henry, Judy Waites and Laura Sanders. He leaves his brothers Clayton Waites, Roger Waites (wife, Judy Waites), Larry Waites and sisters, Vickie McCullough, Tammy Young (husband, Timothy Michael Young), and Edna Faye Sanders.

He also leaves behind to cherish in his memories: children, Ophelia Davis, LaTonya Starr, Darrick Starr, Altraniecia Starr, and Brendan Cox; Grandchildren, Keithon Davis, Larenzo Davis, Andre Rogers, Jr., Cameasha Turner, Precilla Cotton, Larry Cotton, Frederick Giunyard, Shacoria Davis, Frederick Guinyard, Jr., Shavon Starr, Davon Starr, Avon Starr, and granddog Oliver; great-grandchildren, Joel Starr Williams, Josiah Starr Williams and Javon Starr.

You will be greatly missed Cold Steele.
