Alfred Wayne Ramsey was born February 10 1965 to Nellie M. Chappell and Fred Ramsey in Charleston, West Virginia. The family moved several times settling in Birmingham Alabama.

He attended both Grade and High school in Birmingham Alabama. He enjoyed several occupations to include truck drivers, welder, and an electrician where he was employed by Pemco Aeroplex in Birmingham Alabama where he took early retirement after before being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

Alfred accepted Christ at an early age. He attended church at New Zion in Lufkin Texas, where he then rededicated his life to Christ under the leader chip of Pastor Cedric Kenebrew.

Alfred Wayne Ramsey was united in holy matrimony with Vontreava Mitchell March 2000 in Birmingham Alabama.

His memories will be cherished by his loving wife Vontreava Ramsey and his children Alnisha (Earnest) Cunningham, Tevin and Kevin Ramsey, all of Birmingham Alabama, Travial and Travis Mitchell both of Dallas Texas, three grandchildren, Aalyah Ramsey, Jeremiah and Jamari Cunningham His loving mother Nellie Chappell three sisters Bridgett Presswood, Yolanda Paige of Birmingham andLatanya (Charlie B) Davis of Columbus Miss. He was preceded in death by his older brother Randy Johnson.

Also a host of relatives and friends.
