Annie LaVerne Turner was born the 27th day of January 1945, to the parentage of Johnnie Turner and LueVerne Clayton Turner. She was called home to be with her Lord on the 7th day of May.
Pastor Annie White received a formal education through the Dallas Independent School District. She received an Associates of Arts and Science Degree from El Centro Community College in 1986. She taught kindergarten at Lobias Murray Christian Academy, Shirley Murray Learning Center, for thirteen years. She volunteered for thirteen years at various Senior Citizen facilities and Parkland Hospital.
Pastor Annie LaVerne Turner joined in union to McClellan White on the 14th day of November 1964 in Dallas, TX. To that union were born four children: Sophia White Berry, Paul White, Michael White, and Danny White.
Pastor Annie White was the founder of the Fresh Start Gospel Outreach Ministry Church. She was a licensed and ordained minister. She won many souls, uplifted many hearts, and blessed lives in abundance. She performed many God inspired assignments as a choir director, worship leader, pianist, recording artist, writer, seminar and public speaker, and teacher. She also was a Sunday School Teacher for many years.
She was preceded in death by her father Johnnie Turner and mother LueVerne Clayton Turner; two sisters, Vanola Turner Clark and Martha Moore; a brother, Orlander Clark; her husband, McClellan White; three brothers-in-law, Oliver Harris, Thomas Rufus, and Arthur Moore.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four children, Sophia Berry of Lancaster, TX, Paul White (Laucetta) of Grand Prairie, TX, Michael White (Remanther) of Dallas, TX, Danny White of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren Christopher White (Pat) of Dallas, TX, Mikia White of Baltimore, MD, Camecia Briggs (Jerrell) of Houston, TX; one great grandchild, Julius Brisggs of Houston, TX; two sisters, Falma Rufus of Lancaster, TX, and Almeta Harris of Dallas, TX, and one sister in law, Rosetta Clark of Dallas, TX. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
