Bertha Sallie, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on January 11, 1937, Bertha lived a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A visitation in honor of Bertha will be held on February 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Eternal Rest Funeral Home of Ennis, located at 215 North Dallas Street, Ennis, TX 75119. Friends and family are invited to come and share their memories of Bertha as they gather to pay their respects.

The funeral service will take place on March 1, 2025, at the Eastside Church of Christ, beginning at 11:00 AM and concluding at 12:00 PM. The church is situated at 607 East Martin Luther King Drive, Ennis, TX 75119. This will be a time for all to celebrate Bertha's life, reflecting on her many contributions to her community and the enduring impact she has made on the lives of those she cherished.
