Bettie Jean Parrish was born on June 15, 1940 to Earnest Bray and Helen Daniels in Dallas, Texas.

She received her formal education in the Dallas School System and gradated from Lincoln High School.

Bettie accepted and knew Christ as her Savior . She attended the Cities of Refuge Church.

Bettie Jean Parrish was united in holy matrimony with Charles H. Parrish.

Bettie worked in the Health Care Field as a Home Health Care Aide.

Bettie Jean Parrish departed this life on March 15, 2019. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen Daniels, father Earnest Bray, husband Charles H. Parrish, granddaughter Cierra Roger.

She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters; Vickie Fountain, Janice Price, Cerrita Mathis, Jacqueline Greer (Anthony), brother; Andrew Bray (Dorothy), Stanley Washington (Jacqueline), Stratford Washington (Rena), Bedford Washington, Billy Washington (Ethel), Dorsey Pete Washington (Dianna) a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and family and friends.
