Calvin Jackson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Calvin Jackson, who departed this life on March 7, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on March 17, 1930, Calvin lived a life marked by resilience, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to his family.

Calvin was known for his warm spirit and generosity. His wisdom and gentle guidance touched the lives of many, as he always extended a helping hand to those in need. He was a devoted member of his community and maintained a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a viewing on March 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Eternal Rest Funeral Home Desoto, located at 1400 N Hampton Rd, Desoto, TX 75115. A funeral service will be held the following day, March 17, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM at the Eternal Rest Desoto Large Chapel, also at 1400 N Hampton Rd, Desoto, TX 75115. This will be followed by a burial at Laurel Land Memorial Park, where Calvin will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM.

Calvin Jackson will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
