Carlos Brown was born July 10, 1965 in Dallas, TX. He was the eldest and only Son of Odessa and Willie Harris. Carlos received his education in the Dallas Independent Schools. In 1983 he graduated from H. Grady Spruce High School where he exceled in both Track and Basketball.
Carlos was an extremely hard working man who held multiple jobs. He was employed by the Lighthouse, Corporate Communications, Sears, Xerox and his dream job at Blue Cross & Blue Shield where he formed a great bond with numerous people. Carlos was a family man and a great cook. He loved to entertain. He was a sports lover, his favorite team being the Dallas Cowboys. His favorite pastime was fishing.
Carlos is preceded in death by his Mother, Odessa Harris and Father Willie Harris.
He leaves to cherish his loving and devoted Wife of 18 years, Gwendolyn Brown whom he adored, Melissa, TX. Sons, Lerente Allen, Mesquite, TX and Johnathan Davis, Dallas, TX. One daughter, Jacquise Holmes, (Dominic), Dallas, TX. One precious Grandson, Dominic, Jr., who lovingly, called him “Gran NaNa”. Three Sisters, Shenell Harris, Regina Rene and Yavonka Nicole all of Garland, TX. Mother-in-law Climmie Rogers. McKinney, TX. Special Lifelong Friends: Mike Green, Marvin Gibson, Dwight Payne and Kenneth Payne and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and many friends.
