Catherine Banks was born on April 18, 1963 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Katherine Woodson and Lowell Byrdsong. She met James Banks in New Orleans, Louisiana and fell in love, whom she married.

Catherine loved her family dearly and was loved by those who knew her bright smile and wonderful heart. She will always be remembered for her wise words and angelic spirit.

She was predeceased by her aunt, Sarah Britt, and brother, Stacy L. Woodson.

Catherine leaves to celebrate her homegoing: her mother, Katherine Woodson; husband, James E. Banks; four lovely children, Jessica, James, Keaondra, and Jordan; brother, Dennis Woodson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
