Charles Ferrell, Sr. was born May 1, 1950. He received his formal education at Polytechnie High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He enlisted in the United States Marines and received an honorable discharge.

Charles accepted Christ later in life at Community Baptist Church and was later united with Precious Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church.

Charles Windell Ferrell, Sr. departed this life April 23, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Ferrell; father, McLoy Medlock; brother, Robert Keaton; sister, Barbara Elaine Ferrell; and sister-in-law,Cynitha       Powell.

ster; two daughters, Quiana (Leon) McCullum, Charlesetta (Reginald) Powe; one son, Charles Ferrell, Jr.; 5 sisters, Belinda Scott, Jannessie (Don) Choice, Margaret (Michael) Griffin, Debra (Eli) Latin, Jackie Medlock; 3 brothers, Harold Lynn (Robin) Powell, Daryl Powell, Gary Ferrell; 7 grandchildren; 2 aunts, Dixie Jewell Glen, Ida Nell Carroll; one uncle, Johnnie Ferrell (Evelyn); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
