Clay Everett Williams was born on August 20, 1937 in Dallas Texas to the parents of Fred and Marjorie Williams, Sr. He attended schools in Dallas and was self-employed as an independent contractor in the field of Construction and Industrial Production. He was a member of the Church of the Living God PGT in Dallas, Texas, under the spiritual guidance of Bishop C.C. Berry, Jr., Senior Pastor.
On June 8, 2007, Clay married Amaree Simpson (no children birthed in this marriage). They lived in Fairview, Texas from 2007-2015, and later moved to Jacksonville, Texas, from 2015-2017.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Fred S. Williams, Sr. and Marjorie Williams, sisters, Bobbie D. Jones, and Helen Gross. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Amaree Simpson Williams; stepdaughters, Florida Miller (Carlos Miller), Pamela Simpson Clay (Bennie Clay), Laurene Harris (Mundrea Mitchell); sister, Velma Chism Milliner; brother, Fred S. Williams, Jr.; nephew, Ronald Chism (Collett); nieces, Sandra Jones (Lawrence), Carolyn Chism (Michael), and Marian Chism, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
