THE LIFE REFLECTIONS

David Sanders Jr.

David Sanders was born on December 28,1943 to the union of Booker T. Sanders and Edith Griffin Sanders in Timpson, Texas.

David Sanders received his formal education at Lincoln High School in Dallas, Texas.

David Sanders accepted Christ as his Savior at Highland Hills United Methodist Church at the age of 42.

David Sanders was united in holy matrimony with Jo C. Thomas on December 10,1965 in Dallas, Texas. Their union was blessed with 2 children.

He was employed by The Masqueraders as a Vocalist and a Songwriter for over 50 years.

In his leisure he enjoyed singing, playing tennis, golf, basketball and writing music.

David Sanders Jr. departed this life on August 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Booker T. Sanders, and Edith Sanders and 18 sisters and brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His wife, Jo C. Sanders; Two Children, Mia D. Sanders and Michelle R. Shead ; Two sons-in-law; Charles Graves and Darrell Smith and Sister, Cleopatra Dennis of Kansas City, Mo.;Three Grandchildren, Cherkethia Harris, Ayana Shead and Destiny Thomas. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
