Deborah L. Wood

Deborah (Debbie) L Wood age 63, of Ennis, passed away on December 17, 2022. She was born on July 5, 1959, to Floyd and JoAnn Kilpatrick in Melbourne, Florida. Debbie married Rickye Wood SR in Dallas on August 25, 1978. Together they shared three (3) amazing sons. In Debbie’s free time she loved spending as much time as she possible could with her sons, reading books, going shopping, and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Debbie was full of life, always playful, and her spunky attitude never let her meet a stranger. Debbie will be greatly missed.

Behind Debbie has left her three (3) sons: Rickye Wood JR and girlfriend Melinda Slovak, Randy Wood, and the baby Rusty Wood and wife Nancy Wood. Seven (7) grandchildren: Stephanie, RJ, Nathan, Adrian, Catlin, Cody, and Tanner. Two (2) great-grandchildren: Colton, and Cali. Her sisters: Helen Smith, Loraine Buckner and JoAnn Hamilton. Brother: Floyd Kilpatrick. Nephews: Marty Brashear, Dereck Cooper. Nieces: Misty Anglin, and Carol Taschner.  Along with many other family and friends.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, husband Rickye Wood SR, and her sister Sharon Edwards.
