Donald Ray Young was born October 21, 1963 in Greenville, Texas. He received his formal education in Greenville Public Schools, and graduated from Greenville High School in 1980.

Donald Ray was a hard worker. He was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. He was also a part of a motorcycle club that he loved.

Donald Ray Young entered Eternal Rest on March 20, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucile Young; father, Jack Ford; god-daughter, Tynaria Kendrick Massey; cousin, David Earl Spillman; uncle, James Spillman; and aunt, Claudie Singleton.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sister, Annie Bell Young; special sister, Katina Kendrick of Greenville; niece, Tomicina Young of Paris, Texas; nephews, Jason Young of Greenville, and Mark Young of Greenville; aunt, Jesse Mae Grant; 2 god-daughters, C’mone and Taiqura Kendrick of Greenville; special Ma & Pa on earth, Shirly and Billy Kendrick; special aunt and uncle, Clara and Joe Skillen; and a host of nieces, nephews, beloved relatives and friends.
