Dwayne Collins Campbell was born on December 12, 1959 to the parentage of Alfred Campbell and Betty Kirvin, in Dallas, Texas.
Dwayne received his formal education at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas. He furthered his education at Cedar Valley College in Lancaster Texas, Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards Education
Dwayne accepted Christ as his Savior at the age 31, at Greater Crusade for Christ, under the leadership of Elder W. E. Tillman, Jr. He served as head deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, District level office Sunday School Superintendent.
Dwayne was employed by Sears Roebuck for 16 years as a battery technician; 10 years as a police officer; 10 years at Methodist Hospital. In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with his 4 nephews.
He leaves to cherish his memory: brother, Kevin; nephews, Kevin Ray Dixon, Devin Campbell, Kaleb Campbell, Jayden Campbell; great nephew, Kevin Ray Dixon, Jr; uncle, Dayle Campbell of Dallas, and William Campbell of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 1 aunt, Linda Moore of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a host of relatives and friends.
