Eddie Mae Secrease was born June 4, 1925 to the union of Ethel M. Secrease and Elce Secrease in Oakwood, Texas. She received her formal education in Oakwood public schools.

Eddie Mae accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Peaceful Rest Baptist Church. She was united in holy matrimony with Lee L. Walker in Dallas, Texas. To this union three children we born.

Eddie Mae was employed as a custodian by Dallas Independent School District, where she later retired. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren shopping and cooking.

Eddie Mae Secrease entered Eternal Rest on April 2, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Secrease; father, Elce Secrease; husband, Lee L. Walker; 2 sons Charles L. Secrease and James Douglas Secrease; 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Alfred L. Secrease; granddaughter, Katrina D. Johnson, Lakeita A. Packer, and a host of grand and great grandchildren, many relatives, including cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
