Elizabeth Martin was born on November 15, 1946 to the union of Walter Martin and Estell Miles-Martin in Ferriday, Louisiana. 

Elizabeth received her formal education in the Louisiana School  District. 

Elizabeth accepted Christ as her Savior at Bethlehem Pentecostal Holiness Church. 

She was employed by Dallas Independent School District as a Cafeteria Assistant. 

In her leisure, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, and spending time with family. She was a woman of compassion, full of love, she never met a stranger and was loved by many. 

Elizabeth Martin departed this life on November 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents; Walter & Estell Martin, one son; Billy Ray Martin, sisters; Alberta Martin, Ophelia Martin, Dorothy Perkins, brothers; Joe Louis Martin, Alfred Martin, Jerry Martin, four nephews, and 3 great nephews. 

She leaves to cherish her memory nine children; Frankie Martin, Bobby R. Martin, Maggie M. Irving, Stephanie A. Martin, Carolyn Martin, Marilyn Martin, Nicole Martin, Michael Martin, Sharon Martin, all of Dallas, Texas, 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, one sister; Mary Hill of Dallas, Texas, sister-in-law; Glenna Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, and cousins.
