Life Reflections
Mary Elizabeth Perry was born on March 28, 1939 to CarrieThomas & Jimmy Dwayne Hollingsworth.
Elizabeth Perry received her formal education at George Washington Carver High School in Ennis, Texas.
Elizabeth Perry accepted Christ as her Savior at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she served on the Usher Board, in the choir, Nurses Guild and established The Candy Stripers of Ennis, Texas.
Elizabeth was united in holy matrimony with William Harold “Nick” Perry on June 19, 1963. Their union was blessed with seven children.
Elizabeth Perry departed this life on October 9, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband; William Harold “Nick” Perry, birth mother; Carne Thomas, adopted mother; Lillie McDonald, one brother; Occie McDonald, and father; Jimmy Hollingsworth.
She leaves to cherish her memory seven children; Fay Michelle Booker (Gordon) of Longview, TX., Jimmy Wayne Perry Sr. (Debbie) of Ennis, TX., Bobby Charles Perry of Killeen, TX, Raymond Harold Perry (Lois) of Wylie, TX, Gloria Buchanan of Rice, TX, Derrick Bernard Perry (Regina) of Paris, TX., TashuaPerry of Desoto, TX, 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, one brother; Larthel Washington, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
