Ernst Randolph Duncan was born March 23, 1967 in Fanny Village Point Fortin Trinidad, West Indies. He attended Point Fortin Anglican Catholic School, K. B. Polk Elementary and Thomas Jefferson High in Dallas, Texas. During high school, Ernst was a part of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) and a Junior Police Officer with the Dallas Police Explorer Program.

Ernst served in the United States Army 1985-1989, stationed in South Korea, where he did much work as a cable dog.

Ernst loved to work on computers and cars. He could fix anything computer related. He also loved to cook. Ernst was happy-go-lucky; never entertained being down at all. He loved dining out with his friends and he was very generous to all who passed his way.

Ernst leaves to cherish his memory: mom, Uris Jackson; sisters – June, Christine, Avril and Andrea, Mark, and brother, Anthony Duncan.
