Gregory Adams was born on November 17, 1957 to the union of Carl and Helen Adams in Hoke, North Carolina.

Gregory Adams received his formal education at E.E. Smith High School in Hoke, North Carolina.

Gregory Adams accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age.

Gregory Adams was united in holy matrimony with Marchal Lewis-Adams on July 30, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their union was blessed with 4 children.

Gregory enlisted into the United States Army on November 9, 1976. He was honorably discharged on November 8, 1980.

He was employed by USPS as a mail clerk for 22 years.

In his leisure, he enjoyed football, listening to music and enjoyed being around his family and friends.

Gregory Adams departed this life on March 12, 2019. He was preceded in death by: mother; Helen Adams-Godwin, father; Carl Lee Godwin, brother; Larry Adams and step-son; Demarco Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife; Marchal Adams, 2 sons; Andre Adams, Brandon Adams, stepdaughter; Letitia Lewis, step-granddaughter; Latayvia Johnson, in-laws; Viola Price, Leatrice Lewis, Arnetta Phillip, Arnold Joe Lewis, cousins of North Carolina; Edna, Mitch and a host of relatives and friends.
