Herston Jer’Ray Monroe was born March 23,1995 to Yolanda Fitzgerald and Herbert G. Monroe, Jr. In Dallas, Texas.

Herston accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of Inspiring Fountain of Faith “IFOF”. He was successful in making sure he was educated. He went to Albert Sidney Johnson, Shepton Middle School, Frankford Middle School, Plano West High and PCI Health Care Training Center.

Herston was extremely talented and independent. He was employed by McDonald’s, Enterprise Car Rental, and Mercedes Benz of Plano.

On Monday, February 6,2017, Herston’s earthly journey came to an end and he transitioned from time into eternity. He was united with loved ones and friends who took this journey before him. These included his great-great grandparents, Clara White, Jessie White (Willie Mae Walker, Carl Walker), Isaac Fitzgerald, Sr., Lorine Fitzgerald-Atkins, Willie White, and Isaac Fitzgerald, Jr.

Herston touched many lives. He made his mark in the hearts of too many to mention. Herston leaves in God’s care his mother, Yolanda Fitzgerald; his father, Herbert Monroe Jr.; grandmothers, Brenda Fitzgerald and Louise Monroe; brother, Isaac K. Fitzgerald; Derrick Monroe; aunts Clara Fitzgerald, Lorine Fitzgerald, Isaacar Fitzgerald and Carolyn Mitchell. uncles, Anthony Monroe, Tyrone W Tucker and Louis Atkins; grandfathers, Foncell Fitzgerald, Herbert Monroe, Sr; great aunt, Wilma Turner (John Turner); nephews, Jaden Branch, Darion Monroe; niece, Deira Wright; cousins: Devin Fitzgerald, Gabriel Hodge, John Turner, Reginald Turner, Timmy Turner, Velton Gardner, Sr., Tybregris Gardner, Derius Matthew, Anttenett Matthews, Anecia Monroe, Tyla Monroe, and Anthony Monroe II.
