Ianthia Dansby Harris was born on April 4, 1926 in Cushing, Texas. Ianthia received her formal education at Laneville ISD in Laneville, Texas.
Ianthia accepted Christas her Savior at Anadorko Christian Church at an early age.
Ianthia Dansby was united in holy matrimony with Clifford C. Harris in 1946 in Rusk County. Their union was blessed with 5 children.
She was employed as housekeeper.
In her leisure, she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, reading and her family.
Ianthia Dansby Harris departed this life on November 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clifford Harris; sons: Charles Ray Harris, Charles Leslie Harris, Johnnie Lee Harris and stillborn son; Mother: Eugene Arnette Dansby; father: Shelby Dansby; brothers: Milton and Calvin Dansby; sisters: Opal Anderson, Mary Lois Polk, Naomi Sheppard, Ida Robertson, Claudia McCall and Camillia Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter: Inez Foley; grandchildren: Kevin Foley , Inett Foley-Lewis (Cedric), Dwylon Foley, Rodney Wade, Ianthia Foley, Kedric Wade, Angela Wade-Taylor (Parick), Ijette Peck (Jerroid), Kevyontae Wade, Diamond Wade, Jaden Jones, Karter Wade and a host of relatives and friends
