INETTA RUTH BELL was born FEBRUARY 6, 1929, in Caldwell, TX. to Willie Gray, Sr. (deceased), and Eliza Burton-Gray (deceased). To this union was born (2) sons and (2) daughters: Felix Gray (deceased), Willie Gray, Sr. (deceased), and surviving sister, Lillie Gray.
Inetta attended public school in Melissa, Texas and received her high school education at Doty High School in McKinney, Texas. She married Felix Bell, Sr. (deceased) and to this union was born (3) sons: Felix Bell Jr. (deceased), Cecil Bell, Jerry Bell Sr., and Sandra Bell (step daughter).
Inetta was a devoted wife and mother, who loved her family dearly. She was initiated into ADA Chapter #4 EASTERN STAR for many years. Inetta served as a devoted deaconess of Church of the Living God Pentecostal in Dallas, Texas. After church, she loved to check every member’s blood pressure. Inetta was a God-fearing woman who loved her church family. Inetta had dreams of becoming a nurse. Education was stressed throughout her life. She worked diligently to be a successful LVN for 31 years at Dallas VA Medical Center and St. Paul University in Dallas, Texas. Inetta was recognized for her many outstanding accomplishments. She also became a school Crossing Guard for Dallas Independent School District. Inetta never went to school to become a brick layer, plumber, or roofer. She fixed her own roof and plumbing, and built her chimney, brick by brick-immaculate work. NO JOB TOO SMALL that she couldn’t handle. She loved to watch baseball (Texas Rangers) and football (Dallas Cowboys). Inetta had a “green thumb” when it came to her garden. Sewing and crossword puzzles, she loved to do in her spare time.
INETTA RUTH BELL leaves to cherish her memories: her children, Cecil Bell, Jerry Bell, Sr., and Sandra Bell;
(8) Grandchildren: Linetta Bell, Rebecca Rogers, Monica Bell, LaKeshia Jordan, Angle Henry (deceased), Jerry Bell Jr., Kimberly Bell, and Conswala Bell; (13) great grandchildren, (13) great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews from Louisville, Kentucky, Denton, Texas, and friends.
