Inez Davis was born on July 10, 1931 to the union of Isaiah & Luverter Clark in Mineola, Texas.
Inez Davis received her formal education at Courtney High School in Josephine, Texas.
Inez accepted Christ as her Savior at St. Luke Baptist Church at an early age and was united with Avenue Baptist Church, later uniting with Peniel Baptist Church where she served until her health began to fail.
Inez was united in holy matrimony with Roosevelt Davis on September 6, 1952. Their union was blessed with ten children.
Inez was a homemaker, in her leisure, she enjoyed serving God, singing in the choir, taking care of the family and she loved her honey buns. She also devoted her life to help raise a few grandchildren as her own, she was a wonderful stewardship for God.
Inez was a Deaconess, a member of the choir, a Sunday school teacher and Mission President.
Inez Davis departed this life on April 2, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband; Roosevelt Davis, two daughters; Annie Garrett, Laura Pierce, one son; Cecil Davis and one grandson; Keith Mitchell.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children; Cecilia Robertson (Tommy), Janet Davis, Janice Raynor, Jackie Davis, Jimmy Davis, Bobby Green, Jerry Davis (Cammy), two sisters; Bessie Shaw, Mary Helen Perkins, two brothers; William Clark (Georgia), James Aurther Clark, a granddaughter she raised; Tammy Davis, 28 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, a host of other family members and friends.
