Life Reflections
Psalm 30:5
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Irene Snell was born on June 22, 1956 to the union of Robert & Jessie Mae Snell in Waxahachie, Texas.
Irene received her formal education at Waxahachie High School Class of 1976 in Waxahachie, Texas. She furthered her education at El Centro College in Dallas, Texas.
Irene accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served as an Usher and Church Secretary.
Irene loved working with children and helping others. She worked at Corner Stone Child Care for over 25 years. She ended her career with over 40 years in childcare service. Her last job was with Angels of Faith Preschool. She was loved by the children & staff, this was not just a job, they became great friends, Mrs. Bertha, Faith, Shelia and Lisa all had a very special bond with Irene.
In her leisure, she enjoyed watching Lifetime, Good Times, all the Tyler Perry-Madea movies, shopping, spending time with family; she was always there for her sisters and brothers. Christmas was her favorite holiday, she always made sure everyone had a Christmas gift. She absolutely loved her church and was excited about all the new things taking place at Greater Mt. Zion, she was very active in church.
