James D. Waters
James D. Waters was born to the parentage of James B. and Thelma Waters in Dallas, Texas.
He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Hatcher St. Church of Christ.
He received his formal education in the DISD School System and graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1976. He also attended East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas.
He worked as a manager at several companies (Silver Leaf, American National Insurance. He was a Master Mason of Pride of Dallas #146 Masonic Lodge.
Dickie was very outgoing with a sense of humor. He had a way of making you laugh even in the saddest of times.
Family members preceding him in death: parents; James and Thelma Waters, grandmother; Francis Harris, sister; Helen “Tinkie” Williams and oldest brother; Donald “Kwesi” Williams.
He leaves to cherish his lovely memory: his wife; Francis “Jeanell” Monroe, daughters; Sheniqua Hicks (Deleon, Derrick, Denim), Jamonica (Jamaria, JaQuala), Jeanetta (Samuel, Anthony, Harmony, Serenity) all of Dallas, one brother; Joey (Angelia) Waters of Neylandville, Texas, two sisters; Eva Lee Janice Butler, Sheree Waters-Salters, both of Dallas, Texas, a special great nephew; Trevin “Buddy” Waters , a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
