James Elvis Lyons was born on May 17, 1957 to the union of Robert and Johnnie Lyons in Dallas, Texas.

James Lyons received his formal education at Wilmer Hutchins High School in Hutchins, Texas.

James Lyons was a Baptist.

James Lyons was united in holy matrimony with Marshon Walker on May, 15, 190 in Dallas, Texas. Their union was blessed with 3 children.

He was employed by EPI Breads as a machine operator and forklift driver for 12 years.

In his leisure, he enjoyed bowling, basketball, fishing, camping, coaching, photography, he was also a dog lover and a Cowboys Fan.

James Lyons departed this life on June 13, 2019. He was preceded in death by: his father; Robert Lyons, sister; Dorothy and granddaughter; Adrian Jones.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother; Johnnie Lyons, brother; Robert Lyons Jr (Dee), sisters; Patricia Taylor, Marshall Lyons, Margaret Louis Lyons, wife; Marshon Lyons, children; Elvis Walker (Toni), Quenceila Lyons, Ashley Lyons (Tyrus), Jade Nesbit, 14 grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many relatives and friends.
