Life Reflections

Psalm 33:20-22

Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.  For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.  Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.

Jewel Tolbert was born on October 2, 1932 to the union of Sanders Tolbert and Susie Taylor in Smithville, Texas.

Jewel Tolbert received her formal education at Smithville High School in Smithville, Texas.

Jewel Tolbert accepted Christ as her Savior at Wynnewood Fellowship Church at the age of 86 where she served as the Mother of the Church.

Jewel was united in holy matrimony with Earl Garner. Their union was blessed with 7 children.

Jewel Tolbert departed this life on June 2, 2019. She was preceded in death by: her husband; Earl Garner, parents, 1 daughter; 2 sons, 1 brother and 1 sister.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her brother; Sammy Tolbert, 4 children; Patricia Garner, Cynthia Garner, Kenneth Garner, Phillis Garner, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren.
