Jo Ann Vaughn-McIntyre, 62, was born October 2, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a beloved Mother and Grandmother. Unfortunately, after her battle with cancer on December 18, 2016, my mother passed on to finally be with the Lord and to embrace the love of her mother once again in Heaven.

Not only was she a Mother, she was a very caring and loving person with a big heart, willing to give and share whatever she had even if it meant giving her last. She was just that kind of a person. No matter the situation, even if it meant offering any little bit of advice she could give to get you going in the right direction, she was there in every way possible to lend a helping hand. Words can’t even begin to express enough gratitude on how much she was appreciated both as a person, family member, friend, colleague and Mother, and will be gratefully forever missed until one day we all meet again in The Kingdom of Heaven; Amen.

She is survived by her two sons, Lendrick Vaughn and Ferdinand McIntyre, her daughter Dominique McIntyre and grandchildren, Diamond and DeVonte McIntyre.
