Life Reflections

John Leslie DuBose Jr. of Dallas, TX passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020.  John began his journey here on earth August 16, 1978.  He was parented by John Sr. and Wanda DuBose of Garland, TX.  

John received his formal education in the Garland School System. He graduated from Naaman Forrest High School with honors and a Texas Scholar.  He furthered his education at Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama.

John chose Jesus as his Lord at an early age.

Though quiet in nature, he was an avid saxophonist, transforming that “quiet” into a razor-sharp performer, entertaining at various venues. He was a member of Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity.

He was preceded in death by his:  father, John DuBose Sr.; aunt, Carrie Horton. He leaves to cherish his lovely mom, Wanda DuBose; brother, Jeffrey DuBose; uncles, Jimmie DuBose and Wallace Brown; aunts, Lila DuBose, Denise Brown, Vivian Brown; a host of friends, cousins and other family members.
