John Herman Scott, affectionately known as Papa Herman, was born on October 4, 1910 to Mr. and Mrs. Scott in Tennessee. He departed this life August 16, 2017.

He leaves to mourn his passing: daughters, Mildred, Pearline, Velma, Rose H. Scott; sons; John H. Scott and Harris Scott; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; special people in his life, Ms. Bobbie and his son-in-law, David.
