Mr. Jonah M. Easley was born October 24, 1954, in Big Springs, Texas to the parentage of Lille Bell and Mark H. Easley. Jonah was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Rosie Williams, Mary Sterling, and Joyce Easley; and three brothers, Edwin Easley, Joe Lewis, and Arthur Easley.

Jonah attend public school in Big Springs, Texas. After attending school, he enlisted in the United States Army. After serving his country, he settled in Fort Worth, Texas. Jonah became a truck driver in which he enjoyed. He met his loving wife and she became his love for thirty-three long years. He was a very loving, caring person. He was an entertainer and a talker. He enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. He also loved sharing his memorable times he spent with his kids and grandkids.

He is survived by his loving wife Sharon Easley, Dallas, Texas; three daughters, Lakitha Lashelle McCann of Memphis, TN and Commissioner Ward of Radcliff, Kentucky, and Trina Hoyle of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, James Easley of Dallas, Texas, Michael Easley of Fort Worth, Texas; George Easley of San Bernardino, CA, and Randal Easley (Jackie) of Fort Worth, TX; one step-brother; Mark Easley Jr. (Malva) of Temple, TX; step-sisters, Yvonne Haley (Giorge) of Indian Head, MD, Carolyn Walls of Denton, Texas, Jacqueline Easley of Douglasville, GA, Angnes Easley of Austell, GA; step-mother, Carrie Latrobe; step-brother, Warren Dickerson of Columbus, Miss; and six grandchildren: Alexander Branch, Talik Cash, Jasmine Cash, P’kysia Ward, Gavin Richardson, Ta’Quisia Hoyle, and Zettie Burn, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
