Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want.
It is with tears of sadness, we say farewell to our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend. Mrs. Josie Bloodsaw was the first born of the proud parents Mr. Floyd and Mrs. New Orleans Jackson. She was born January 24, 1942, grew up in Shangaloo, La with grandparents Josie and Buster Taylor. Joined the White Rose Baptist Church faithfully attended Youth Sunday School. Later the family joined with the St. Rest Baptist Church family where she remained until she moved to Dallas Texas. She graduated from Charles Brown High School with the class of 1962. She has been employed with by Goodwill Industries, Blue Cross and Dallas ISD. She met and married Mr. Leroy Bloodsaw and they had one son Eric Bloodsaw. She later joined Cornerstone Baptist Church where she remained until now. She leaves to cherish her memories (1) Son Eric Bloodsaw (Rochell), (5) grandchildren Chaprentice, Eric McDaniel, Cedricka McDaniel, Leonard McDaniel, Charlotte McDaniel, and (4) great-grandchildren Maryiah McDaniel, Kendrick Lucas, Serenity McDaniels and Gotti McDaniel (1) Brother Willie Jackson (1) Sister Hattie White (Johnny) of Cullen, La., (4) Nephews Gerald (Rosalind), Mitchell (Giselle), Jovan (Ellease) and Mario (2) Nieces Lavonda, Shakita, a host of great nephews, great nieces and many other relatives and friends. We have many memories, lots of love good teaching (from her) and lots of laughs. We love Josie and will never forget you.
