J.W. Fields was born on March 17, 1946 to the union of A.D. & Maurine Fields in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
J.W. Fields received his formal education at Booker T. Washington High School in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
J.W. Fields was united in holy matrimony with Mary Louise Smith on June 6, 1981 in Dallas, Texas. Their union was blessed with four children.
He was employed by Lone Star Liquor Company as a truck driver for many years.
In his leisure, he enjoyed racing, building cars, playing cards, telling jokes, and most of all, his great grandchildren.
J.W. Fields departed this life on October 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his daughter; Tasha Smith, father; A.D. Fields, mother; Maurine Fields, brothers; Edwin Joe Fields, A.D. Fields, Jessie Fields, and sister; Mary Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife; Mary Fields, daughter; Jametricia Tarver (Kendrick), sons; Martiez Fields (Angela), Marquendo Smtih, grandchildren; Keidranna, Chace, Marquis, J’Andrea, Kealon, Madison, Nikyah, Marquendo Jr., Krisetta, great grandchildren; Joidyn, Kealon Jr., Journei, Addalyn, Ari’Yanah, Ja’Nyah, Marquis Jr., brothers; Jeff Fields, Lawrence Charles Fields, sisters; Annie Mae Todd, Essie Askew, Peggy Gholston, Freddie Mae Webster, special cousins; Raymond Joe Hill, Charles Johnson, a host of sister & brother in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
