Karon La’Shun Price Johnson was born November 18, 1974 in Midlothian Texas to the parentage of Sammie and Carolyn Price. She accepted Christ at the age of 9 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Midlothian, Texas under the leadership of Rev. Carl McDuffy and later she served under Rev. Leonard Chappell at Union Missionary Baptist Church in Italy, Texas.

Karon Attended Midlothian ISD and graduated from Italy High School in 1993.

She was a dedicated Health Care Worker for many years and received her CNA license and worked in several Health Care Facilities in Ellis County Texas.

She was a loving Wife and Mother to her husband and two sons; a Wonderful Daughter to her Parents and a Big Sister to her Brother.

Karon leaves to cherish her memories a loving Husband Samuel Johnson of Ennis, Texas her Two Sons Jamal and Cornelius, and a Step-Son Alexander Johnson; her father, Sammie Price Sr. of Lubbock, Texas; mother, Carolyn Price of Desoto, Texas; and Brother Sammie Price, Jr. (Latris) of Balch Springs, Texas. She also leaves two beautiful nieces, Adae and Audra Price, and a nephew, Darrius Price.

A famous Author, Charles Haddon Spurgeon said: “Friendship is one of the sweetest joys of life. Many might have failed beneath the bitterness of their trial had they not found a friend.”

Karon leaves behind many, many friends; there are so many we could not begin to name them all. As much as she loved her family she also loved her friends. Also, mourning her passing is a host of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who loved her dearly.
