Kerrie Lynn Ford-Allen was born January 23, 1962 to Ernest Ford and mother Serverda Ford in Dallas, TX.
Kerrie accepted Christ as her savior at Greater Lighthouse COGIC at an early age under R.C. Willis. She later attended The Mighty Ark of Safety Holiness Church under the leadership of Bishop Floyd W. Yow.
Kerrie received her formal education in Dallas Independent School system and graduated from L.G. Pinkston High School. She was employed at CitiGroup Mortgage were she later retired.
Kerrie enjoyed shopping, cooking, decorating and making others laugh. She had a beautiful soul that could light up the room. She was very outspoken and a giving person. She would give until she couldn’t give anymore. She impacted many lives. She loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchild.
On April 5th, 2019 she won her earthly battle. She was preceded in death by her father Ernest and mother Serverda Ford, Brother Otha Hill Sr and Leroy Ford, nephews Cedric Ford and Dwight Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories daughters Shatarra Ford, Ebony Ford-Wilson (Herbert) Jamelia Henderson, Son: Jesse S. Ford, Sisters: Bobbie D. Willis, Virginia Thomas, Lila Ford, Brother: Jesse L. Ford, 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends who will miss her dearly.
