Kevin Carl Haggard (aka Poppy) was born February 21, 1972, in Dallas, Texas and departed this earth on September 28, 2018, to be with his Lord and Savior.

His spirit is carried on by his beloved wife, Nicole, parents Howard and Theresa, brother Doug and wife Kathy, daughters Charissa and husband Travis, Tiffani, and Hayleigh, 2 grandsons, nephews and niece and his mother-in-law Claudia, and friends from every walk in life.  Including his dogs, Rocky, Adi, Maggie and Lucy (who constantly took over the bed)

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl & Oleva Haggard, Howard & Louenge Markham and Aunt Camellia Funderburk.

After graduation in 1990, Kevin joined the Navy and served on the USS John Hancock and participated in the Desert storm conflict receiving the Southwest Asia and National Defense awards.  He received an Honorable Discharge in 1994.

He was a creative and talented person with a passion for photography, archery competitions with his wife Nicki, bow hunting and golfing with his family and friends.  He was an extraordinary make-up artist and enjoyed participating in numerous Halloween Haunts in the North Texas area.

His truest love was for his wife Nicki, the love of his life and soul mate.

The Memorial Service for the family will be held Monday, October 22, 2018, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Memorial Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas at 11:00 a.m.
