Lamont Wilder was born in Dallas, Texas on February 18, 1974. He attended John B. Hood School for his secondary education, he was a Manager of the Crown Plaza Hotel October feast every year since 1996 and he also obtained a Tax preparer certification.

Lamont worked as a tax preparer with a local privately owned tax office for more than 10 years. He enjoyed music, movies and singing. He was also actively involved in cooking meals and sharing them with the less fortunate.

Lamont is lovely remembered by his mother & father, Carolyn Edwards and Jimmy Wilder; as well as his 2 sisters, (GA) Carla Taylor and (TX) Regina Edwards., 2 brothers, Jimmy Edwards and Elton Edwards. 1 stepsister (Kimberly Shaw) and 3 step brothers; 2 nieces (GA) Carley Taylor and Samaria Edwards, 6 Nephews, (GA) Devante young, Clayborne Taylor, and Colby Taylor, (Tx)Cedric Edwards, Dedric Edwards, Fabian Quail and Rashad Edwards, 2 great nieces and one great nephew. And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he cherished.

Lamont is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Leroy Edwards and Johnny Mae Chambers and Horace Chambers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society. The family of Lamont Wilder wishes to thank all our family and friends for all their love and support.
