Mr. Larry Donnell Wilson, Sr. was born September 5, 1955 in Navarro County to Mr. Emanuel Wilson, Sr. and Lura Dell Kelly. He finished high school in Corsicana.

Larry worked at Chattagua Glass Company and Center Arc, and was a caretaker for Ms. Wheeler and Ms. Lura Griggs for many years. Larry was a hardworking man.

Larry confessed a faith in Christ and united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Later, he joined New Cornerstone Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Donne Watson.

Larry departed this life on April 3, 2017 at Medical City in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel Sr. and Lura Wilson; his grandparents, Ella Kelly; sister, Nellie Robinson.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ruthie Wilson; 1 son, Larry Wilson, Jr. (DJ); 1 daughter, Larett; granddaughter, Saniah Sims, and three others; 5 sisters, Estella Albert (George), Alma Robinson (Leon), Ann Wilson, Sharon Ballard (Kenny), Renita Hollie (Rev. Donald); 5 brothers, Emanuel (Mary), Harold (Glory), Walter (Lula), Darron and Clay; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
