Lee Otis Page transitioned into enteral rest on Friday, April 21, 2017, surrounded by the people that loved him the most, his family.
Lee Otis Page was born October 4, 1952, to the union of the late Henry and Charlene Page Gates of Shreveport, LA.
He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Shreveport, LA in 1968. After high school, he attended Southern University in Shreveport, LA in 1971. Lee Otis enlisted in the United States Navy in 1972 and served until 1974. Upon leaving the Navy, Lee Otis occupational career included Gould Battery, Dixie Cup Corporation and retired in 2014 from Rush Enterprise in Irving, TX. Because of his dedication, he received a certificate for outstanding performance and perfect attendance. Lee Otis graduated from Ashford University in 2011 with an Associate of Art in Business. Lee Otis loved the game of golf, he was a proud member of the Cedar Crest Golf Course in Dallas, TX.
Lee Otis accepted Christ at Mount Mariah Baptist Church in Shreveport, LA at an early age and as he began to get ill, he depended on the Lord more and more each day. As a believer, he knew the Lord had a plan for him.
In addition to his parents, Lee Otis is preceded in death by one sister: Charlesetta Watley and two brothers: Eric Jerome Gates and Ivory Gates.
Lee Otis leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted spouse: Judy Harvey of Lancaster, TX; three daughters: Demetrist LaShawn Wallace (Paul) of Austin, TX, Moniqua LaShea Harvey (Lamont) of Grand Prairie, TX, and Charlene Shardae Walton of Dallas, TX; five step-children Bobby Duncan, Latrica Duncan TaKeisha Kee, Tameka Walton of Dallas, TX and Joe Fields of Desoto, TX; seven grandchildren Ashley Taylor and Curtis Jackson of Bastrop, TX, Shaterica Harvey of Lancaster, TX, Eboni Harvey, Baylee Duncan, Iyana Duncan and Bryce Duncan of Grand Prairie, TX; two great granddaughters: Kamryn Taylor-Collins and Kaidyn Hill of Bastrop, TX; one sister: Addie Lee West of Houston, TX; three brothers: John Gates (Tina) of Dallas, TX, Anthony Gates (Blanca) of Las Vegas, NV and Henry Gates Jr. of Phoenix, AZ. And a host of Cousins, Nephews, Nieces, and Friends.
