Lewis (LC) McCulloch was born on October 8, 1939 in Clarksville, Texas to the parentage of Charlie and Lois Johnson McCulloch.

 

LC was the first-born of four children and educated in the Clarksville ISD. He attended Cheatem Elementary and Cheatem High School of Clarksville, and DeVry Institute of Dallas. He received Christ early in his life at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clarksville, Texas. After his move to Dallas, he joined the Galilee COGIC where he attended with his family of four children. Later he joined Pearly Gate Baptist Church (Dallas), and after marriage to Octavia Fields he joined Inspiring Body of Christ (Dallas).

 

LC was employed by Taylor Publishing Company of Dallas for 43 years. After retirement, he established, and operated a logistic company. He enjoyed many hobbies including cars, competitive bowling, fishing, hunting, craftmanship, and traveling.

 

LC was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Lois Johnson McCulloch, and siblings: Loistene Waller, Bill McCulloch, and Charlene Cathcart. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife, Octavia Fields McCulloch; daughters: Carol (Ray) Washington, Gloria McCulloch, Raquel (Terry) Williams, Kandace Fields; sons: Vernon, Charles (Hope) and Gregory Fields; grandchildren: Chasaty Mitchell, Tiffany (Reginald) Moody, Ariel Webb, Jonathan and Joshua McCullough, Sadae Hadnot, Dajai Fields, Mikaya Richardson, Donterrian Wideman and Doenty Cox;  great grandchildren: Adarious Mitchell, Kyndell Allen, Reginald Moody Jr., Adrian Moody, and Gabrielle Wideman; god-brother: Freddy (Alicia) Dickerson; god-sister: Yolanda Kay Reynolds; nephews: Rev. Ronnie Moore and Ivan Waller; nieces: Barbara McCulloch-Hobbs, Shawntell Cathcart-Turner, Petula Waller and  LaKesha McCulloch; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors, and friends.
