Mr. Luther Elton Glasco was born on October 19th, 1944 in New Port, Arkansas to the proud parents of Otis and Alice Glasco. He was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Alice Glasco, his sister Thelma Hampton, his son Shawn Thomas Glasco, and grandson Matthew Thomas Glasco.

Luther Glasco was a builder in Dallas and many parts of the United States.  He built the Hampton Inn Hotels, Marriott Hotels, Holidays Inn Express’, Best Western, La Quintas, Home2 Suites, Townplace Suites, and many others. He ran a successful construction business for over 50 years. If you know him, you know this man worked harder than anyone.

Memories of Luther will forever be cherished by his wife Claudia Reyes-Glasco of 36 years; his brother Robert, sisters Faye and June; his sons Mark and Steve, daughters Kandi, Ginger, Mary and April Ann; his 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his best friend Joe Reyes; nieces Julia and Mia; and a very special dog named Jesse!
