Major Townsend Harper Jr., born on March 18, 1960, departed this life on March 21, 2025. A beloved figure in the Ennis community, Major was known for his unwavering and remarkable spirit that touched the lives of many.

Throughout his life, Major exemplified the values of integrity, service, and compassion. His commitment family, friends, his community shone through in everything he did. Major's presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Eternal Rest Funeral Home Chapel in Ennis, Texas, on March 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Following this, a funeral service will be held at Ennis Mt. Zion Baptist Church on March 29, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM, where we will celebrate Major's life and the positive impact he made on those around him.
