Mother Mary Agnes Haynes – Anderson was born the fourth child of seven children on May 18, 1941 in Frederick, OK to James and Annie Mae Haynes Sr.  She spent her entire childhood in Frederick and attended Boyd High School. She was married in 1955 to which five children were born to this union. After her divorce, she moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, where she met the father of her youngest son. There she worked various jobs; which aided her in the decision to receive her certification as a Nurse’s Aide to support her six children.  In 1967, she and her children moved to Dallas, TX, where she continued to work as a CNA until her retirement.  Dallas is where Mother Mary met the love of her life, her second husband, Donald Ray Anderson; whom she married on June 22, 1979.

Missionary Anderson had a heart of gold and did not mind putting forth an effort to help others. As a mother, she went above and beyond for her children. Not only did she do everything she could to provide for her children, she also raised some of her grandchildren. She installed in her children and grandchildren the importance of love, family and accepting the love of God.

Mother Anderson was introduced to Christ at a very early age. As a young adult, she was member of First Baptist Church in Frederick. But it was in Dallas, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Moses Reagan Sr., that she gave her life completely over to God and was filled with the Holy Ghost.  In the 1980’s, she moved back to Wichita Falls, TX and realized that God had placed a calling on her life; it was then that she gained her missionary license and started preaching and teaching the word of God, at Mitchell’s Chapel under the guidance of Bishop B. J. Mitchell. In 1993, she acquired the title of District State Mother of the True Light Holy Sanctified organization under the direction and leadership of Bishop B.E. George. She was a member of the New Bethel Temple where the late Pastor Chiquita Brown presided; but was accepted under watchman ship at Glory Temple Living Word, in Garland, TX, under the leadership Bishop Bertha Brown.

God gave Missionary Anderson the vision to start a gospel singing group. She got together with her best friend Pastor Johnny Mae Perry, her daughter, Pastor Chiquita Brown, her cousin Yolanda Perry, and friend Deacon Donal (Pops) Merriex; and they became the “Golden Crown Gospel Singers”. A few years later, she started another group called “The New Children of Christ.” God blessed Mother Anderson to manage these two groups for over 20 years.

Mother Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, James Haynes Sr. and Annie Mae Russell; grandparents, (maternal) Fred and May Jackson, (paternal) Tommy and Mary Haynes; brother Freeman Russell; sisters, Elizabeth Russell and Varee Jefferson; daughter, Pastor Chiquita Brown; and great grandson, Dakaree Gildon.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband and love of her life for over 40 years, Donald Ray

Anderson. An uncle, William Jackson of California; Mother-in-law, Katy Young of Dallas, TX; brother, James (Jae) Haynes Jr. of Kansas City, MO; 2 sisters, Catherine Uncle of El Paso, TX, Mildred Flemings of Frederick, OK; 4 sons, Pastor Roosevelt (Algerita) Gildon Jr. of Tulsa, OK., Ricky Wilson of Dallas, TX, Pastor Andrew Brown of Wichita Falls, TX, and Donald (Turnie) Anderson Jr. of Dallas, TX. 3 daughters, Vanessa Dodd of Dallas, TX., Maria Wrice of Dallas, TX, and Lillian Snoddy of North Dakota; 20 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; and a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends
