Life Reflection of Melvin Jones

Melvin Jones was born on July 4, 1961 in Dallas Texas to the union of Marvin Jones, Jr. and Letha Mae Joiner.

Melvin received his education in the Dallas Independent School District

Melvin was united in holy matrimony with Brigitte Cooper on May 13, 2017

Melvin accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was a member of the Greater El Bethel Baptist Church.  He loved his church family and singing in the choir.

Melvin departed this life on April 27, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Jones, Jr. and Letha Mae Jones; stepmother, Mamie Jones; grandparents, Osborne and Mattie Joiner; Marvin Sr. and Mary Jones; brother, Lawrence Jones; sister, Melody Joiner.

Melvin leaves to cherish his memories:  wife, Brigitte Cooper-Jones, 2 daughters, Carmela, Alyssa (Tia); 5 sons, Melvyn, Jr., Da’Vion, Ansara, Mason, Caleb; sisters, LaShelle Love, Sharon Jones, step sisters, Priscilla Shepard, Linda K. Sullivan, Delois Marshall (Tony), Diane Johnson; step brother, J. C. Smith; Aunts, Sophia Jones, Shirley Joiner, Dorothy Bell, Mary Carter, Marie Drake, Verma Jones; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
