Precious Memories
“To everything there is a season; a time to be born.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
Mrs. Mollie Green was born to the parentage of Mary & George Massey. She met and married Earnest Roosevelt Green Sr., on December 4, 1951. She found joy in both ministry work and praising the Lord. She was also a faithful member of the Eastern Star group where she took great pride in serving and helping people in her community. For many years, Mrs. Mollie Green was employed in the area of Home Health care, which taking care of others has always been her passion.
“I must work the work of him that sent me, while it is day.” John 9:4
She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She joined and remained a faithfully member of the General Assembly Church of the Living God; serving as dutiful member until her health began to fail.
“Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord.” Revelation 14:13
Mrs. Mollie Green was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earnest Roosevelt Green Sr., her two siblings Ms. Earlene Brown & Thurman Massey, as well as her four children Ruby Doris Jackson, Earnest Roosevelt Green Jr., Bearnest Lee Green & Deloise Ann Green.
“I will not leave you comfortless.” John 14:18
She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted children; Pearl Oliver (Frank), Lucille Jennings (Louis), Jewel Gross (Don), Barbara Booker (Danny), Robert Green, Gary Green & Joe Hall (Laura), one brother; David Massey, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving relatives & friends.
