Nateesha Sanders passed with peace and grace on May 22. She was predeceased by her father, Glen Sanders.  Survived by mother, Janet Petty, sister, Jamica Owens, sister, Taylor Jernigan. Teesha also leaves behind sisters Cealee Thomas, LaKeicee Turner, and Niecy Smith. Nateesha leaves behind Aunts, Ethel Grey, Angie Voss, and Marci Evans; Uncles, Fred Watkins Jr., Steve Sanders, Henry Watkins, and Jimmie Sanders.  She was also loved by a host of great aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and many loyal friends.

Nateesha was born in Plano, Texas and attended Plano East High School, Class of 2005.  Nateesha moved to California and graduated Suma Cum Lambda from Ashford University in San Diego Class of 2016.  She was currently working on a Master’s degree from Simmons College. Nateesha threw her energies into social work, helping displaced Veterans find homes and shelters. Nateesha had a contagious smile, and loved her family and lived her life helping others. Her hobbies were reading, listening to music and keeping abreast of current events.

She leaves us rich in memories.
