Having graduated from Lincoln High School in Dallas ISD, Patricia continued her educational journey at Grambling State University, where she expanded her knowledge and skills. Her personal interests were as vibrant as her professional life; she enjoyed going to the casino and participating in various games, often bringing joy and laughter wherever she went.
Patricia's faith was an integral part of her life. She had a profound love for her church and community, and her memory will forever be treasured by those who knew how faithful she was. Friends and family recount memories of her warmth, loving demeanor, and her generous spirit, which she shared freely with everyone around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Darren Hamilton, her sister, Jeanette Jones, and her stepchildren — Darren Hamilton Jr., Romique Hamilton, Nicale Hamilton, Anikqua Hamilton, and Latrontay Hamilton. Patricia also leaves behind invaluable memories shared with her late husband, Verdie Cook, and her parents, Bessie Jones and Leroy Jones.
A memorial service will be held to honor Patricia's life on March 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Eternal Rest DeSoto Small Chapel in DeSoto, Texas.
