Rose Marie Hall Davis was born on December 30, 1956 to the parentage of Mr. Willie and Mrs. Eula C. Hall. She was the youngest of seven children. Rose graduated from Scurry Rosser High School in 1976. She worked for the Dallas Morning News, Sears Roebuck, and for Aegis Telecom. She accepted Christ and was saved and filled with the precious Holy Ghost at Faith Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of the late Elder Herman and Missy Ella Ruth Straughter. She later served at Edward’s Memorial Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Elder and Sis. John Delley, Elder and Sis. Stern, and Pastor, Elder Lemuel and Sis. Re’Gine Green. She loved singing and praising God. She had a heart of love.
Rose is preceded in death with her father, Willie Hall, Sr., her mother, Eula C. Hall, sister, Dorthy Hall Cox, and a niece, Bonnie Jean Abram.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Albert Davis, Sr., of San Antonio, Texas; four children – Latandra Davis, her twins, Albert Davis, Jr., Amelia Davis, and Derrick Davis, all of Dallas, Texas; the loves of her life, her nine grandchidlren: Dariah Davis, Davion, Angelina, Jazelle, Elijah, Eulaina, Savion, Jawon, Jamiya Davis; her two brothers, Willie Hall, Jr. (Archie aka Bang) of Rosser, Texas, and William Hall (Bugger) (Diana) of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Doretha Gibbons, Ethel Lewis (Billy Joe) of Ennis, Texas, and Mary Burley (Herman Lynn) of Rosser, Texas. She also shared a special love for her inlaws, Dorothy Pinckney (Tony), Ora Mae Hoffman, Henry Hoffman (Tubby), and Richard Hoffman of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves one uncle, C. D. Dorsey of Los Angeles, California and Theo Hall of Dallas, Texas; four best friends, Betty Cox, Gail Wallace, Artis Harbert, and Dora Fearance, and a host of dedicated nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
