Roy Lewis Fields was born on October 7,1955 to Willie Fields and Hazel Marie Fields in Dallas, Texas.  

Roy received his formal education in the Dallas Public School District, graduating in Dallas, Texas from F. D. Roosevelt High School in 1974.   

Roy accepted Christ as his Savior at Tel-Star Baptist Church at an early age and was united with Faithful Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church where he was an active member and served as a Deacon, Usher and Trustee.  

Roy was united in holy matrimony with Cherry Roe in June 19,1982 their union was blessed with one daughter Brittany Roychelle Fields.  On July 17,2004 he was united in Holy matrimony with Lisa Jackson. Through this union he gained two sons, Calvin Jackson II and Aaron Jackson and another daughter Kiara Jackson.  

Roy drove trucks for over 40 years cross country and locally. He retired from Moore Disposal when his health began to fail.   

He was a social butterfly who loved life and never met a stranger. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, coaching and bowling. Roy was the biggest Dallas Cowboys fan!!  

He loved his family deeply. Roy was the anchor and support that held everyone up. His smile and laugh were contagious.  

Roy Lewis Fields departed this life on September 12, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father Willie Fields and his mother Hazel Marie Fields. 

 Survivors: 

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife; Lisa Fields, four children; Brittany Roychelle Fields, Calvin Jackson III (Carolyn), Kiara Jackson, Aaron Jackson Sr.,three grandchildren; Aaron Jackson Jr., Makenzie Jackson, Liam Jackson, one sister; Clementine Jackson (Walter), two brothers; Willie Fields, Douglas Fields Sr. (Sandra Jackson), three nephews; Marvin Beard, Walter Jackson Jr., Douglas Fields, two nieces; Veronica Jackson,  Watonya Smith (Donald), a host of great nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
