Sandra Carol Reese-Greer was born on November 3, 1956, to the union of Douglas Reese, Jr. and Ruby Faye Henson Reese in Big Sandy, Texas. Sandra received her formal education in Garland ISD in the city of Garland, Texas. She furthered her education at El Centro College Dallas, Texas.

Sandra accepted Christ as her Savior at The Church of Christ in Gladewater, Texas under the leadership Rev. Kermit Nixon, and later united with Little Egypt Missionary Baptist Church (known as the Little church with the Big Heart), under the Leadership of Pastor Johnnie and Celie Brown. She served as Church Secretary, served on the Deaconess Board, Pastor Aide president, Finance officer, Choir director, and president over Youth Choir (A Woman of many hats).

Sandra was united in Holy Matrimony with James E. Greer on June 1, 1996, In Dallas, Texas. Their union was blessed with two children. She was employed by Ace Cash Express Corporate Office located in Las Colinas, Texas, as a Collect Manager for the last 33years. Due to the condition of her health, she left the company in the year of 2016. When time allowed her in her leisure time she enjoyed fellowshipping with her church outings, short drives to her hometown of East Texas, taking out time with her husband (James and grandson Terrian), reading books and working crossword puzzle books, watching game shows on television, as well as looking at her favorite television shows.

Sandra Carol Reese-Greer departed this life on May 1, 2017. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Douglas Reese, Sr., Eliza Reese, John Henson, Sr. and Azzie Lee Henson; her parents, Douglas Reese, Jr. and Ruby Faye Henson Reese; her daughter, Roshunda Jackson; her son Carlos Jackson; 2 brothers, Willie James Reese and Johnny C. Reese; 2 sisters, Doretha R. Reese and Brenda Faye Reese; aunts and uncles of the Reese and Henson Family.

She leaves to cherish her memory: James E. Greer (husband); Terrian Jackson (grandson) of Irving, TX; 5 sisters, Erma Reese Davis (Archie) of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Gwen Ester Reese (Clyde) of Benton Harbor, Michigan, Irastine Reese Preston (Cedric) of Irving, TX, Dorothy Reese Merrill (Lenard) of Gladewater, TX, Ruby Reese Roberts(Jesse) of Athens, TX, Mary Reese of Dallas, TX; 1 brother, Ray Charles Reese (Debbie) of Gun Barrel, TX; a host of loved ones, nieces (great), nephews (great), aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.
